Yes is just size, but not just the blade, hande thickness/ size changes too
If you you are regularly going to batonny chop chop anything harder then birch and thicker then your thumb i can't say how well the classic will preform
Most comfortable knife to use the unless you are scared of having no guard, but you can whittle for hours nor problem
