The weight wasn't the best but it wasn't terrible. setup and packup is easy (I also made my own cylinder pack for it, room was okay but not much ceiling room (6'2" with room for me and backpack), poor ventilation and tended to condense or be hot in summer, in theory you could ditch the poles if you make your own from sticks in the forest or hang from 2 trees. Tarp like floor was an excellent tub and i never used groundsheets even in rain. seams arent supposed to be great but i just waterproofed before use and never really had issues.
