The cupholder is in a stupid spot on the dash, all the way at the top right over the stereo. If you spill anything in there, it goes everywhere... into the stereo, just everywhere.
Mine had the "upgraded" infinity stereo, and the amps on those would fail. Speaker would best-case just not play audio, worst-case (what usually happened) was it'd buzz. Audio is fed at line-level to the speaker along with power, where the amp on the speaker would drive the speaker itself. You're either stuck paying $$$ for another Infinity speaker, or ripping all the speakers out and pulling new wire from the headunit to the aftermarket speakers.
Lost a water pump or two on the motor, but otherwise it was reliable.
Traded it in with 200k; needed a lot of chassis work that I didn't want to pay for.
