the thing is, urbex involves trespassing, which most of the time isn't considered criminal and often cops will just ask you to fuck off. it's fairly rare, but they can arrest you for criminal trespassing depending where you are, like if you B&E or climb a bigass fence to go someplace you really can't be; or if you're vandalizing. the other way you get arrested while urbexing is if they find you with a weapon of some kind. you'll be way too suspicious if you have a billy club, machete, stun gun, pistol, nunchukka, whatever on your person while skulking around an industrial park of abandoned house in the middle of the night. you can easily get charged with menacing even if you're walking down the street with a weapon on you.
