Carrying a legal blade in your boot is not one of them, or a state misdemeanor currently, but that doesn't mean a cop wanting to arrest you can't elevate it or interpret it in some way you get fucked for life. If a cop wants you to go to jail because you caught him on a bad day, he can simply lie and say you made a violent gesture or "lunged at him" and you've now caught a felony.
