I have to wear motorcycle gloves home most of the time. That shit will ruin a good pair of leathers.. A box of gloves is a fair enough price to keep your hands from smelling like shit. And I only ever need 1 glove to handle the fish so its even cheaper as im using a glove per stop/trip.
Also for multiple lake trips. Disposable gloves helps prevent spreading parasites and diseases across lakes/rivers like a stupid spic.
And if you're a nasty piece of shit like skid who is someone that will take a dump and not wash his hands and go eat a rack of ribs. Then sure handling them bare hand is fine...
