>>2190912On which note, on the patina thing - the Micarta handles on ESEEs can be dyed, for example brown, if you want the wood look. As far as I know they will still stain/patina after being dyed, so you'd get the durability of contemporary handles with your campsite aesthetics. Or, there's more than a few guys who have made wooden handles for the RB3, so you could probably search around and buy a pair of them, if wood is an absolute must.
