day 1: practiced gear placements, then did a mock trad lead on TR while one of the instructors ascended alongside and gave advice. climbed two routes with tons of placements.
day 2: anchor-building instruction; assessing strength; equalizing techniques. then a mock multi-pitch traverse between the 6 anchors we'd set. practiced swapping lead and block leading, and lowering.
all interspersed with probably a hundred tips and tricks that the guides had picked up over the years. I feel completely ready to hop on a (bolted) multi-pitch or start playing easy trad routes.
