Pic related is a 2 pound dink on a 10/0 beast hook. They don’t need to inhale a treble lure to get hooked, just merely swiping at it due to aggression.
I do agree though power fishermen who burn a spot willingly in front of another fisher is a dick move. I immediately tie on a 10 ounce, 11” swimbait and bomb cast near those people purposefully, gigantic overhead casts, making the biggest splash I can. I hate those people so much. Boaters are the worst at this. As if having an extreme amount of debt with a banked owned truck and boat gives them ownership of the lake.
