Remember, with aromatics, you need to smoke sloooow. The propylene glycol in the casing boils off and turns to steam, which gives aromatics more tongue bite than unflavored tobaccos. And the actual casing flavor tends to break down under high heat as well. Aromatics are mild, so they're popular for beginners, but they trickier to smoke optimally, and less tolerant of a shitty pack.
If you have any suspicion that it's not packed right, pull it out and try again. Better to repack for a minute than to fight with a shitty bowl for an hour. And when smoking, keep it on the verge of going out, for maximum coolness and flavor.
