>>451222>>451222buy camo netting off ebay. 2M x 1M they usually come in. the more - the better.
NOTE: i`m goingto buy a brown netting to place onto the jacket/trousers. then add the green layer over that.
lay out your camo jacket and trousers.
wrap the camo netting around different areas of the clothing: thighs, calves, midsection, biceps, forearms.
and another peice - cut a hole in it to the size of your head. you can wrap that over your upper body (shoulders, chest, back).
you connect them with other peices of camo nettting. cut simple strips to tie them together.
the head camo - you can simple just use a small peice and wwrap it around and over your head.
i only had a 2mx2m and a 1mx2m netting. i used it originally for covering my tent. i then used it to cover my rucksack whilst walking innawoods. then i just made a ghillie suit with it. i need to get more camo netting. like i said - the more the better.
when making a ghillie suit - make sure you leave plenty of movement space with the material. i.e. when you reach your arms out in from. and when you reach to the sky - make sure you have long enough material to cover the additional movement spare.
and when you make it. its 3 parts: head, upper body, legs.
and i tied them to the jacket and trouser catches, fastenings and the belt guides. and most of all - its realy cheap to make your own and its very light weight.
when i were it - you can feel the weight and thickness of it. but, its very light. just make sure you keep extra parts incease you`ve under measured and you can simply tie extra lengths to wherever you need.
also, you can (if you wanted) have 2 layers of netting. 1st layer to attach to the camo clothing is a dark brown. then add a green layer over that. because its a neting i`ll show the other lay undernieth. i haven`t done this myself (yet) but, i`m planning on buying more camo netting. another green 2M x 2M and a brown 2M x 2M. so START with a brown layer. then add a green layer over that.
