Pictured rocks trail guide here. 3 days is pretty quick so you dont need to pack much.
Go in the early summer, starting mid july and august is black fly hell.
For the pack I dont know how good it is, I used an alice for a long time with no problem.

Dont bring flannel, get some nice easy dry gym shirts to wear and one nice jacket (preferably waterproof) I just sleep in your underwear mate. Bring a bunch of socks, they are the only clothing that I bring more than one pair of extras. A parka would be better than just a coat.
>suppliesbasic medical supplies should include duct tape and moleskin.
Just get Mountain houses for your meals mate. maybe some jerky and trail mix. You can pick up some nice homemade jerky from little downs all over the UP.
Buy a water filter, it is your most important asset and you dont even have it listed. There are streams and lakes all over the UP so finding water isnt that hard.

Both are good deterrents from bears, wolves, lions, and humans
Your honestly not going for that long so dont overpack. Go to pictured rocks if you want a great hike 1000% recommend. If you see a grumpy guy with an /out/ patch babysitting college kids give me a shout.
