Total yield from a bushel and a peck of apples, for my first batch of hard cider: a little over 2 gallons. Was hoping for closer to 3 but there was a lot more sediment than I thought there would be in the ferment. I fermented the whole bushel, then added the last peck’s worth when I bottled to back-sweeten. Tastes nice, should be good and fizzy in less than a week.
