Howdy /out/ I'm from Detroit Mi and am planning on my first bike camping tour expedition thingy. I plan to go from my hometown all the way to the west coast this spring-summer. I have a pretty good idea of what to expect and what I'll need to survive. However, I don't necessarily have all of my gear yet. I'd like help finding some the cheapest yet best and durable gear. Also, how do you guys feel about hammocks vs. tents? I think I might just bring both. I know how to start fires, fish, and make traps. Also, there are roads and stores literally every 50 fucking miles. So I don't want to hear anyone tell me not to do it or that I'm going to die.
