>>2758974When they light up blue, that’s always a really cool sight. I’ve seen two meteors like that, the larger one was such a long streak that maybe a chunk of it actually hit the ground, but I saw it in the sky over the everglades so depending on what the distance actually was, it landed somewhere in the swamp, or possibly crashed into a parked car in Miami, or maybe went across to the Atlantic Ocean. That one happened right as the sky was starting to light up around 6am and was still super bright, so I bet it would’ve lit up the night sky really good if it were half an hour earlier.
I thought maybe I was seeing one of them UFOs a few months ago, but it ended up being a goofy combination of the moon and some clouds. It was the most trippy thing because it was a sliver of the moon just coming up in the east and it was low in the sky and orange, and there were real low fast moving clouds, but they were over the ocean where there’s no light to reflect and you can’t even tell the clouds are there. I thought it was the tail of an early morning SpaceX launch at first until it kept morphing shapes and disappearing and then reappearing, never actually showing the whole sliver of a crescent moon.
