>>1957483Toyotas have the reputation for reliability for a reason. There are several toyota and lexus models that have hit 1 million miles. As long as you do general maintenance they will last a lifetime. My dad is the original owner of his 02 sequoia and has about 280k miles on it and it has been more than acceptable as far a reliability goes. That being said he has had to do some extra work to it. One being a new radiator about a year ago because the plastic tank on the top got a crack in it. And he had to do rear axle seals because they leaked diff fluid all over the rear calipers. Aside from that he has done nothing else to it aside from fluid and timing belt changes.
My 07 Tundra with 125k miles has pretty much been the same way, only thing aside from fluid changes was I had a rear wheel bearing start making noise above 50mph. Only thing I wish toyota did differently was have nicer interiors, don't get me wrong it's a very durable interior. But it's not exactly plush considering I have the limited trim package on my tundra. The leather seats are nice but a lot of the touch points on the dash are made of hard plastic or piano gloss black plastic that becomes a finger print magnet.
