The bugs now are ridiculous - might be a bit better in a month. It’s wet. Like suck your shoes off wet. Make sure you bring camp shoes so your feet can dry out. There’s also very few points to resupply anything, and hitching is nearly a lost cause, especially in coronatime.
If you’ve already hiked in the Hight Peaks Wilderness Area, I’d say just do the NPT. If you’ve never hiked the high peaks, then sure go for the whole thing. Is there a better map anywhere? I’m curious where it cuts away from the Northville placid trail - probably at Duck Hole I assume. Do you have any specific questions more than “is it nice?”
