this is why every /out/ facility (campground etc) needs an oldschool playground. not the plastic grassy playplace kind, the kind that's steel and gravel. this is where all the kids meet and size each other up. the shitty kids get sorted-out right away in the crucible that is a rough playground. nobody escapes the without an attitude readjustment. you can take those fucking kids fishing, canoeing, hiking, camping, birdwatching, whatever... and nothing will stick with more than the hard lessons they learned in the gravel of the playground.
