I'm considering something like pic related, I'd probably build like 3-4 of them. Alternatively, I'm considering the berkley method, but I do'nt think it's as space efficient. I run a small, urban and indoor farm and go through about a quarter ton of straw or wood pellets every month, but I'm hoping to ramp up to a full ton by end of summer. I'd like to be able to sell this stuff, since it's high quality 'mushroom compost'.
I didn't think the waste would be such an issue, but here I am. I'm almost thinking my best move might be befriending a local gardener with some spare acreage and just dumping a truck load every week.
