>>531922You're right, I should specify that you should be able to hit a 3 inch area at whatever the maximum distance you'll be shooting at is. 200 is the maximum I'll shoot at, but like you mentioned, terrain makes a huge difference, and I'm hunting in Montana/Wyoming where it's not uncommon to have open areas allowing those kinds of shots.

I just have serious moral issue with the amount of animals that are injured because people overestimate their ability to shoot in the field.
The overall message is don't shoot at the animal unless you're absolutely sure you can kill it with that bullet.
