Unless you need serrations for some specific purpose, don't. As a general-purpose camping knife, some form of puukko is your best bet. Or, if you want a bigger knife, leuku.
If you are dead-set on a hard-use full tang survival knife, stick to these parameters:
3 to 4'' blade
1/8", or 3/32" thick
Comfortable handle with no guard, choils, or other pseudo-ergonomic features.
