Anyways, yeah, I carry in the woods. Legal to openly carry a firearm in Florida as long as you are going to or from hunting, fishing or camping, and my hike are generally part of a camping trip. I carried my shotgun on the /out/ meetup but now that my holster finally came in I'll be carrying my Beagle a lot more.
Also, I'm okay with others doing so. I have no reason to not be okay with it, they probably just want it for self-defense or hunting. If they want it to harm me or something then, well, they probably wouldn't care if I were okay with it or not, yes?
