Back from overlanding throughout Northern Ontario (any part north of Algonquin and the northern parts of the shield is what is colloqially referred to as "North")
The first interesting part is the beaver's dam that is actually part of the trail and helps me keep water out of my cabin.
Same trail that leads from central Ontario up to Lake Nip. We have had a delayed snow melt along with heavy rainfall for the past month so the stagnant water has been really damn high. This little rut was around 1 metre deep and I would've been able to cross it if i had the appropriate door seals.
Unfortunately, 10 klicks into the trail and this was blocked off by a deep swamp overflow. so I had to turn back.
Uh I just posted all of this on /ORG/ but I'll C&P the important shit here and try to keep the vehicular autism at a low.
