i have a switchback hammock from tree-to-tree trail gear. ive hiked ~3500 trail miles with it and i love the damn thing. you get in from the side. its built with baggy 'pockets' towards the ends so you sleep flatter with your body aimed kind of 'corner to corner'. this thing is rugged enough ive had two people in it - even sex.
it may be a slight bit heavier than most as there is an extra layer of fabric that acts as a 'sleeve' for your bedroll and a nice bugnet- but i found the weight to comfort ratio perfect.
my tarp was made by Jacks R Better , as well as my underquilt. both work exceptionally well.
