I prefer Mepps because they seem to have the best action. The blade spins all the time and never gets tangled up like cheaper ones. I have a handful of Rooster Tails as well. They have a lot of florescent colors which is good for peacocks. Largemouth don't hate the flourescent yellow either.
>>661674Well it's South Florida, so winter means mid-high 70s during the day. But I haven't seen any gar lately. Earlier in the summer, there were a million at this one pond. I haven't been there a ton lately, but I didn't see any the past couple times I was there (within the past month).
