I ended up giving up on this hobby. I took up the banjo around the same time and I found I like picking strings more than puffing smoke. None of the flavors I tried (Captain Black, 3 Nuns, Capstan Blue) really blew me away and I much prefer alcohol for flavor sipping. I can see why some people might be really into this, and I still think the iconography of an old seasoned veteran of life smoking and telling tales is really cool, but I won't be that guy.
