I've gone way overboard on bush beans this year. I was going to do 5 rows, then added 2 more, then 1 more today, and have a bunch planted in the corner around the compost bin.
Getting some good heat this week so everything is taking off, particularly the potatoes. Already topped with compost in both the potted and in-ground ones.
Swiss chard in the right side is also doing good and is big enough the birds are leaving it alone. Some of the peas that got attacked by birds never really recovered, but the plants protected by netting are nice.
Decent germination on the carrots and not too much overcrowding.
