I've been battling a wee tiny groundhog the past two days. I built the electric fence, but it still got in. Turns out it is a rather small juvenile groundhog and able to slide under the fence, even though the fence is at most 2 inches off the ground. I've been watching for it today, but no signs have been seen and nothing has been eaten since 2 nights ago. I'm hoping it got nipped by the fence last night and won't be back.
Solar fence chargers are awesome. You have have a portable electric fence anywhere the sun shines.
Killing the grass under the fence with some boiling water is amazing, leaving nothing behind but dead grass.
