Film is very much still alive and in production, and if you live in Europe, America, Australia or basically anywhere else you can still get film developed and scanned very cheaply. Not sure where you heard that disposables weren't made any more, because they're very much still made.

>>1591851Get a Ricoh GR. They're tiny, but have a very high quality fixed wide lens, and a DSLR-sized image sensor. The image quality is unreal, and they easily fit into a jacket pocket.
