>>2536874Just a reminder of my favorite post on out:
>November, 2020>weird schizo from Portland, OR>post on /out/ that he’s flown to Orlando, FL>posting pics of a brand new Ozark Trails backpack from his hotel room>says his life is a disaster>plans on walking back to Portland, thereby helping his mental illness and fatness>went to Walmart and bought everything he needs>/out/ is split between non-believers who think it’s an elaborate lie and people giving encouragement (the former vastly outnumber the latter)>sets out in the morning>posts links to his social media; it’s all legit (faggot jannies delete that comment tout de suite)>gets rained on>is hot as hell because Florida>sees a group of tents and figures it’s a good place to possibly set his up (obvious hobo camp)>is accosted by a “tweeker,” so he pulls a knife (!)>tweeker just gets pissed>decides to find a new place to camp>hides out in the bushes for the night, still within the Orlando city limits (Ocoee, FL)>goes silent>next Instagram post is over a month later, doing weeb shit at homeWe see a lot of those types of posts: “I’m gonna do this crazy thing.” But this glorious retard actually went for it. He put in a total of zero (0) planning or research. He should have Ubered to the Florida Trail and hiked that to Pensacola with a Guthooks guidebook. He should have asked for some gear advice. He should have looked into basic street knowledge (avoid the homeless is rule #2). He should have checked the weather (80° isn’t uncommon for Florida in November).
He should have done a lot of things, but the fact remains that while so many faggots talk about doing it, he actually did it. I mean he only lasted a day before giving up, but at least he fucking tried.
