What’s the best way to protect my jalapeño and tomato plant from bugs and birds? I currently have them indoors and I’m heavily considering keeping them 100% indoors but the front porch of my house would give them the full 6+h of sun they need per day.
Should I just sack up and buy an onion+basil plant and do the companion planting thing? My bedroom is only 11’x12’ so there’s not a lot of room for veggie plants in here after my full size bed and my desk.
I’m also considering the raised bed meme (work in construction so I already have painful knees and lower back). Right now I have them in pretty small ceramic planters and I’m planning to transfer them to 5gal Home Depot buckets once they get a little bigger.
