Off grid to many folks is about living with nature in a somewhat self sufficient manner with a mindset geared toward preparedness which is actually more honest and responsible than praying off others through organized institutions of violence, theft, corruption, etc as you see in banking gov and therefore many "on-grid" unethical jobs.
