This topic came around once a month before the rona. Maybe actual /out/its tend to be slightly better adjusted than other boards. Some have women. Some haven't given up.

My last attempt failed, in that I got excited and planned a five mile (uphill) hike to a view. Then I think I came off as evasive when I couldn't tell her EXACTLY how much further to the top.
This year's idea is to go foraging in the national forest. I'll probably scout an area, mark a pull off, and hand her control after a <1 mile hike to the spot. Pack steaks and spices, then cook over a fire for her.
The concept is to give her a sense of accomplishment quickly, with an adventure of "her own making". Thoughts?
