Not exactly this model, but they were fucking amazing, absolute units. The high tops saved my ankles more times than I can count hiking here in Ireland (no paths, terrible weather, heavy wet, completely unpredictable terrain)
Basically the plastic at the bottom has kind of perished over time, can't use them anymore.
I'd love something similar:

My old man is suggesting Materhorns (the army use them here), my sister is suggesting Lowa.
I don't have them here, but I think they were Grisports.
Any /out/ suggestions for a similar heavy leather pair to keep out the Irish weather?
Also, I'm mainly living in Asia these days so I'll ALSO need something for high humidity (combined with rain), what should I look for in that case? I'd fucking die in the Grispots in HK summer
