I have the math written down on google docs somewhere that I did before building it to figure out if the fresh air throughput was sufficient for an active adult rate of respiration and it's many times what you need. The compressor is electric and oil free, so no fumes get into your air supply. The compressor will push air down around 45 feet although I usually descend no further than 20 or so, to avoid saturating.
