>>1946868>That's just on the first page of my local Craigslist.Used "modern" tractors cost 50k+, and that's not including the cost of implements or gas. A brand new GPS guided tractor costs closer to 200k. Nobody serious enough to purchase a 100 acre farm is going to invest in a lunker that's going to burn more coal than your mother and give out after the first day.
>You think the wire is suddenly "bad" because a tree touched it?You don't "fix" galvanized steel wire, retard. It's like a giant slinky. If you damage its shape then it's fucked up forever, and if a tree falls on it, you need to literally cut out the dented segment and splice it with a new line.
>>I'm going to fence off acres and acres of land but ignore these dead trees hanging over the fencing and just wait for a storm...Last year I had a dust devil seven stories tall tear through a patch of woods next to my fenceline. It destroyed two telephone poles, knocked out my power, and threw fuckoff huge branches into my electric fence. I had to replace a seven posts and the full length of my field with new wire. And shit like this happens ALL THE TIME. I'm sick and tired of you idiots pretending like you know what it actually takes to work on a farm.
