Have used that pot to boil water for a cup nood'l using both an esbit and a wood stove
sportsman guide has them for a decent price
if you use an esbit stove, you may need to use two tablets to get it to boil otherwise it will start to bubble but only be very warm water
wood stove heats it up fast but you need to have/find wood. would recommend bringing an opened up pine cone to start it off
