i've slept in the 4 corners area in the upper teens
setup is:
-2 person tent for me and dog
-tent floor (like a foldable rug to prevent the dog from tearing the tent fabric on the floor, folds to notebook size, fits in backpack water bladder pocket, r value is 2)
-sleeping pad (self inflatable thermarest trail pro r value is 4.4)
20 degree mummy bag (kelty cosmic)
if it drops below the teens i usually add another ccl foam sleeping pad like a z-lite sol which adds another 2 points of R value
u wanna add up the r values of both your sleeping pads and make it to at least 6 if you're gonna be sleeping in freezing temps (low 30s)
