>>540387It's like this: everybody has expectations. Most people in the world don't set their expectations too high and, as a result, they're only disappointed a moderate amount of the time. You, however, have chosen to come here with your expectations cranked up waaaay too high. Is this a bad thing? Yes, yes it is. Y'see, every time you set those unreasonably high expectations you're only setting yourself up to be disappointed. This constant disappointment causes you to feel frustrated and, naturally over time, your mind begins to question why this is happening. Why are people not meeting these expectations? How is it possible that this could be so? What could possibly be so hard about such a simple thing? Eventually these thoughts begin to overwhelm your daily routine, and that's when the hallucinations and the delusions kick in. "It must be some sort of conspiracy!" your mind will conclude. By then your brain chemistry will have altered to the point that you'll need medication and then years of therapy to return to a 'normal' level of social interaction and minimum wage employment, placing a burden on your family, friends, and society. All because you couldn't just lower your expectations, and let the idiots be idiots.
So yes, anon, this is a bad thing.
I hope we've learned something from all this.
