I remember reading somewhere that long ago small pipes used to be given to boys upon their confirmation into the church. This may well be one of those, because it is only half as long as a regular-sized pipe. Nevertheless, it was smoked enough to have its mouthpiece completely plugged with tar when I got it.
And I can see why. This thing is a dream to clench and smokes easily. The draw is a little tight, but that's to be expected-the draft hole can only get so big on a pipe whose stem is only 1cm thick.
