Occasionally you deal with poachers, bears, rednecks target shooting downhill, or homeless people squatting in the woods. Game wardens are essentially the same, It's really hard to get a year-round career though but the pay is decent. If you can deal with being nature police then go for it.
Competition is intense I know guys who worked seasonal for almost a decade and year after year they applied for a year-round position and never get in. The ones that do get in full time stay in for decades until they retire.

I'd say get into literally any other part of forest service/parks like ecology, forestry or what have you if you can deal with low-pay and having a job lined up every winter, but if you're into the job and like always working outside then it's a great gig.
