Been with me 2 deployments, dozens upon dozens of field ops, and hundreds of outdoor hikes/hunts/camping trips, used to cut, scrape, stab, pry, wittle, and split everything I needed a knife for (unless I had a bigboi on me). Its not "excellent" at any one thing, but pretty decent at most everything, and insanely tough. Highly recommended, yet to find another pocket knife thats lasted even half this long.
The standard version is D2 tool steel, but they sell premium ones made of Niolox if you want to shell out another 50 bucks.
