>>2619018this was very similar to the first time I wild camped, it's quite busy during the day, but there are quieter routes, north side of kinder scout, near fairbrook naze, is quite good, you can camp on top, it can be a bit boggy, so leave yourself a good amount of time to find somewhere good to camp. I would avoid grindslow knoll and the south side as it's full of pakis. You can easily walk across most of kinder scout even if there aren't any paths. Red is the area I would avoid, and blue is the path I would take to get to near the reservoir
