Tested out my new tent/bag in my outdoor patio last night (don't really have a backyard).
Temps down to 8F, 20 mph winds, blowing snow/frost.
Woke up this morning about 5am when my feet starting getting cold (wore wool socks/long johns/wool hat). I have a short sleeping pad (goes from shoulders to knees), and the area under my feet was a sheet of ice inside the tent.
And I noticed the frost inside the tent walls, which I assume is mostly my condensed breath and farts.
Wasn't comfortable, but if I doubled socks I would probably be okay in similar temps in dry conditions in real /out/.
