>>2380811I did not try it - but if you look up the state forest - the WV website shows a picture that - I assume - is the view from the top of this thing. It was still a perfectly nice hike - but they clearly have no interest in replacing most of the fire towers for tourists to use. There's a couple, but not many.
I gave the tower a shake - and it was kinda wobbly - so I didn't try it. I thought it would have been long gone.
I can't tell if there's another separate overlook in that state forest or what.
