I never had to search for my game. Ever. I'm a horrible shot, on top of that being left-handed and with left eye as a centric one, so that further adds how awkward shooting is. But at 100-150 yards range it takes to be blind or have an advanced Parkinson to miss a fucking buck.
Yet somehow, you still manage to do that, then go all "see how badass hunter I am". You're not. You literally can't kill your target in a reliable way, despite having tools that would allow to do that to someone who never fired a gun prior.
