For reasons unknown there is a big carpet, kind of like those heavy ones used in landscaping that are kind of tarp-ish right in front of the rocks we cast off.This thing moves around with the current or something because no matter how hard you try to doge it you always snag it in a different spot. Sometimes with my 40lb test line i can pull the carpet right up to the rocks and see the infinite lures i've lost stuck to it but you have to pull your line to the point of near snapping, and lean forward over the rocks to the point of nearly losing balance just to get a tiny grip on it. Every time i manage to grab a hold of it the current surprise pulls the carpet and myself into the water. i only ever retrieved one of my lures from it once.
