>color screen>microsd card>usb connectionDepending on your use case, hard buttons (no touchscreen) may be a big bonus.
As does external power - the big 4-pin round can take automotive voltage without any sort of converters.
When you add maps, grayscale goes to shit real fast. Hard to see topo lines, roads, trails, etc.
And you'll want some decent storage space to store those maps - there are "tile limits" that will preclude you from loading 24k topo for the entire US onto there, but you can load up several states worth of maps in one map file. With the very limited memory internal to the device (especially with the older devices) you may only get a small number of map tiles installed before you fill the internal disk.
Barometer and electronic compass are memes. Both are wildly inaccurate without frequent calibration.
Camera, meh. Use a phone.... or a real camera.
I really like the 60/76 Cx models. CSx adds the baro/compass sensors.
Abused my old 60CSx for years. Pic related, after I crashed the moto and peeled the GPS apart like a banana. Was able to repair it, ran it for a few more years. (I like the 76 because the mount wraps around the entire unit, giving it a little more protection, vs. the belt clip that I think caused the 60 to peel apart.)
