Three or four times a year, Garage Grown Gear has a huge giveaway. This time was the ultralight giveaway, with a focus on ultralight gear. Prizes from 30+ manufacturers are given away to ten winners. The prize packs are pretty nice. In all it’s over $10,000 worth of merchandise.
GGG is always pushing political bullshit (pic is from their Instagram post about the giveaway). As such, I have no remorse for cheating. What’s more, I don’t think I’m the only one. The names of the previous winners felt made up, but that’s just a gut instinct.
On my last viewing (yesterday), there were 35,000 entrants. About 200 of those were mine. My goal is to figure out how to have multiple Instagram accounts that aren’t linked, and to build a portfolio of hundreds of fake anccounts over time. I’m not tech savvy when it comes to the inner workings of social media and email hosts, but it seems fairly straight forward.
