Though deep drill deposition could solve the problem today if we would be willing. the average oil well is just under 2k deep. and the deepest oil well was 10,685m deep.
that is so deep it would be hardly found by accident. and to be reached it would need a civilization of sufficient technology thus likely to know how to handle radioactive waste. and natural event that would bring it up would need to be extinction level anyway or over geological timeframes.
